When you receive your Chairperson Kit, you’ll discover a range of materials designed to support you in organizing a successful holiday shop event.

Inside the kit, you will find:

  • Parent Letters/Budget Envelopes: These colorful letters are meant to be distributed to students to promote the sale. The budget envelopes serve a dual purpose, allowing parents to jot down who the child is shopping for and providing a safe place to store money or gift certificates.
  • Posters: Included in the kit are posters that you can strategically display around the school, such as in the lobby, hallways, or other high-traffic areas, to create excitement and awareness about the upcoming holiday shop.
  • Chairperson Manual/App Information Flyer: The flyer directs you to this manual, which contains valuable information to assist you in navigating the holiday shop process. On the reverse side of the flyer, you will find an explanation of our cash register app, outlining its functions and the benefits it offers to streamline the checkout process.
  • Holiday Shop Bucks (if selected as a bonus): If your school has chosen holiday shop bucks as a bonus, you’ll find them included in the kit. Holiday shop bucks are a helpful resource for children who may need financial assistance with their purchases. One common approach is to involve the teachers by asking them to identify students in their classrooms who might benefit from these bucks. To make it an enjoyable experience for the selected children, consider creating a playful, pretend drawing that makes them feel like lucky winners. You can then provide these children with a predetermined amount of bucks, which you can decide, ranging from $1 to $5.

Once you’ve updated your school’s website on the portal, you can begin promoting your upcoming sale.
